Antique Medal | Pope Pius XII
This medal shows the side profile of Pope Pius XII with the words “Pont Max.” This refers to the words “Pontifex Maximus” which is Latin for “Supreme Pontiff” a title of Our Holy Father, the Pope.Â
On the back of the medal is an image of a tabernacle with an angel on either side. Above the image is the phrase “Anno Santo,” meaning “Holy Year.”
