MonkSoap Bar – Saint Joseph Abbey
Soap made by the Monks on the grounds of Saint Joseph Abbey in Saint Benedict, Louisiana. Each MonkSoap bar is 4 ounces and benefits the continued work at Saint Joseph Abbey in forming priests for our church, as well as supporting those with a Monastic vocation at the Abbey!
Ingredients: Saponified oils of soy, coconut, olive, and rice bran; distilled water; shea butter; fragrance
Scent Descriptions
Caribbean Teakwood | This fragrance is masculine, bold, and complex, leading with spicy top notes of ginger, peppercorn, and spice. The middle notes of tobacco leaf and aged teakwood blend into the woody, deep base of sandalwood, amber, and dark musk.
Frankincense & Myrrh | A potent well bodied blend of frankincense oli banum and myrrh.
Lavender | It has a crisp, herbaceous, fresh floral scent with a slightly woody finish.
Magnolia | A sweet floral magnolia – neroli type with top notes of orange flower, and cyclamen, middle notes of jasmine and rose with a crown vetch balsamic base note.
Mayan Gold | A long time MonkSoap favorite with top notes of citrus, a floral heart and base notes of vetiver, cedarwood, woodland sage, and sweet musk.
Saint Therese’s Roses | A fresh floral rose type with top notes of geranium and plum blossom, middle notes of rose damascenia and carnation, with a slightly spicy floral base note.
Sandalwood & Amber |Â A blend of sandalwood and amber with top notes of bergamot and orange, middle notes of rose and violet with base of cedarwood, sandalwood, and vanilla.
Solemn Vespers | This warm tantalizing blend of ambers and woods consists of patchouli, rose, jasmine and floral. Topped with nuances of citrus and softened with a vanilla and powder base. Reminiscent of the incense used at solemn vespers.
Spiced Mahogany | A blend of Italian bergamot, applewood, tonka bean, patchouli, cedarwood, oakmoss, cardamom, vanilla bourbon, and allspice.
Unscented | An unscented version of the popular MonkSoap.
