The Gospel According to Mark
The Gospel of Mark begins on the banks of the River Jordan with John the Baptist’s preachings followed by the baptism of Jesus. Mark recounts the healings and miracles of Jesus as He moves into Galilee, then across the Jordan to Jericho, and then up to Jerusalem where Jesus reveals Himself as the Messiah. The Gospel of Mark concludes with Jesus’ presentation of the Eucharist during the Passover meal, His arrest, trial, crucifixion, resurrection, and ascension.
